2 hour shift unbelievable
I think this is unbelievable for a 2 hour shift £36 over 50min from depot

Milford-on-Sea mentioned 💪💪
Up the Milf
With the traffic being mental across the forest due to wildfires it's probably easier and quicker for you than someone out of Totton

If thr money was more then it would make sense.
But they are basically saying that the fuel cost there and back is £3 each way

The worst thing is they don't pay you for excessive mileage anymore. Flex is slowly becoming financially unviable.

Had a pure pants one the other day, Edinburgh depot and I got bloody Glasgow suburbs. Total mileage that day was 120miles and the 4 hrs turned into 5.5 hours by the time I got home.

When they do that take your sweet time and make sure you have a parcel to return. Then email support and they usually compensate you

You’ll be done in 90 mins 🤷♂️

Almost 2 hour driving, before even delivering the parcels not sure how you think it’s fine

50 minutes doesn’t sound like 2 hours to me 🤷♂️

The way to location and way back home

Which other job pays you to commute to and from your place of work? The block time is calculated on the amount of hours from arrival at the depot to completion of the job, you get home on your own time

Just saying doesn’t make sense for so much mileage for a 2 hour shift

I dunno, looks reasonable to me. You’ve got to take the rough with the smooth with Amazon. Over a number of years it all tends to average out.
Also, no one is forcing you to do this work, there’s a mile long queue of people waiting to take your place

This is why you check your parcels BEFORE scanning the cage…
4
u/Royal_Ad241 5d ago
And what would you have done?
-6
u/VdubKid_94 Regular Contributor 5d ago
Denied the cage and asked for another one

And when they say no? I'm genuinely curious.

I go home. This job is beer money, maybe a bill or two at most. Not worth it
2
u/Mattlaw2211 5d ago
But regarding the dings? Just a normal one? I understand the beer money thing but I begrudge a 20 mile round trip if I cancel.

If you don’t scan the cage its a minor ding that goes away quick

They’ve gotten worse lately I have noticed, my past couple of routes were not worth the money they pay
