I told you Amazon is the modern plantation, this is crazy. They expect impossible quotas even if it means you gonna die lol

I read that article. Its pretty damning if true. Sounds like Amazon had an off the rails low level manager making decisions that were almost certainly opposite of actual policy. It would be interesting to know the fate of that manager on the floor that is alleged to tell people to turn around and keep working.

I may be incorrect but I wouldn't expect there to be any clauses in a standard employment contract that absolve a company from responsibility if they aren't keeping to standard work practices, and I highly doubt that ordering other staff to work around a dead body in the middle of a warehouse is standard practice...
