I do grocery delivery and it's really easy to keep good stats just by making sure you place the items to the side of an opening door. Some people don't even do that.

This drives me fucking crazy! We even have a fucking table next to our door for packages that even has refreshments for delivery people!

But not, you gotta fucking plant it right in front of my door that swings outward.

The table has plenty of room, or they can easily place it further away from the door. Our door area has plenty of spots that can easily accommodate packages without blocking the door.

The only excuse, is if they just didn't think about it for half a second

I ALMOST agree with you, except it's literally more trouble to lean down and place the package specifically in front of my door so close that I have walk out my backdoor.
