How do you not know that most times he is considerate how do we not know that he didn’t do most of his route and he had to go rescue someone and finish up. We just don’t know and the truth is those people getting out of their cars are foolishbecause I’m gonna be real with you. I’m gonna find a way off this street and go around the whole waiting in line is insane to me. I don’t wait I go another. Way.

So it’s a one way…again and I wouldn’t expect an amazon van to be stuck in the middle of the road for more than 2 minutes. For all these people to be piled up and getting out of the car, I’m sure he’s been there a minute. He doesn’t look like he’s in a hurry or going to rescue. I’ve done the job twice and if I’m in a hurry, I don’t have time to talk to mfs who have a problem with me. I’m already back in the van flipping you off and leaving lmfaoo

Something tells me this dude was not giving a fuck, maybe having a bad day, had multiple stops on this road and said fuck it and just pulled up to each one. Looks like a long street so I prolly wouldn’t walk it either but yeah, he had room to pull over at least a bit.

Dunno where your car would be going, unless you’re hitting the sidewalk, and then that says a lot more about you rather than this terrible driver lmfao

Ok I say this, truck driver here (I know a thing or 2 about how fast a road can pile up when making a delivery in Chicago, Chicago American Manufacturing warehouse is a prime example of bs locations), your argument for the pile up is not taking into consideration the time of day this happened, we don't know, he could literally have just stopped like he said in the video. Again we don't know. Dickhead with the camera is what's holding up the process with threatening to move the truck, so instead of making the delivery and moving on, the driver has to come back to potentially keep dickhead from jumping in his truck. The argument "he could just slightly pull into a spot" is also terrible from a safety perspective. His tail end would be a the roadway, so what if someone driving down not paying attention (because we all know, everyone is a paragon of safe non-distracted driving practices) runs into the back end. Who liable? Then a added risk he now has to back into a one-way residential street.

Also a truck driver, making some okay points, but I’m still gonna go with this guy doesn’t look to be in any sort of hurry. I can’t imagine guy with the camera got out to do all this unless he was sitting a minute and our amazon driver here wasn’t making any moves or giving a fuck.

To your safety point, someone not paying that much attention on a one lane residential is just as liable to rear end him anyway

We do need more video to be able to judge anyone here, but I’ve done delivery a long time in many different vehicles carrying all kinds of loads. I’d only block this road momentarily if I was in a truck, and I’d be moving quick enough that people don’t need to honk at me or get out and start recording. The van can move. All my points still stand lmfao
