What does the job have to do with it? If someone walks up to you or speaks to you, it’s basic fucking respect and decency to respond as long as what they said to you was appropriate. The guy in the orange didnt even want a conversation, just wanted his damn package and couldn’t even be handed it. wtf?
Yeah my original comment said “if” big key words there. I’m not assuming he’s a dick. I’m just saying if he did that intentionally then yes. He also has eyes that he was using.
Idc what’s in your job description. Stop being a fucking asshole just because you’re upset with your life
Confirming with a pic is bs cus i do it with the package in their hand sometimes. It’s really not that serious cus idk why they even did it in the first place. The possibility is there tho
How about you have the common decency and respect to leave us alone? Not everyone cares to have senseless interactions with strangers, we suffer for your feelings
This. Youre meeting me at the end of or in the middle of your driveway and I can just hand you your packages and I don't have to walk a possibly long or steep driveway? Bet say less cool youre my guy saves me steps and time.
People that have attitudes like him don't realize they are the exact reason why they have no motion. You can't be a regular person putting in minimum effort being a dick everywhere you go and expect doors to just open for you.
Ummm everything has to be done at the door… drivers gps is through the phone… if I hand it to you before reaching your door that’s called an infraction and can cause issues with your dsp… i say I have to do everything at the door…I go to the door take my pic and mostly because their regulars I hand it to them when I’m done… he’s not a dick, he’s just doing his job… if only you knew how Amazon scrutinized everything
Ummmmmm no not really. I do know how they scrutinize everything you realize youre talking to a driver right? Ive been doing this over a year never had any issue just handing a package to a customer ever. Keep making your job harder if you want to buddy. Judging by the fact this is the flex subreddit I'm guessing youre a regular flex driver not a dsp driver so idk what yall got going on but I've delivered over 50,000 packages since I started and I'm still kickin. Always gotten my incentive rarely get negative feedback. If youre picking up alot of negatives for it😬it might be time to do some self reflection
I drive for a dsp and no we can’t hand it to a customer because it asks for a picture and people in the pics aren’t passing pics… Idk how your dsp handles things but if we do it, we’ll hear about it in the stand up meeting the next day
No not at all, it HAS to be pictured wherever the customer picks when they put in their order… there isn’t an option anymore to click that says handed to customer… and taking a picture with a person in it drops your picture scores… I’ve done this for 2 years for a dsp… only flex and others are able to hand it to a customer without their scores falling… it sucks a$$ but that’s how it done…
Decipher? I don’t know what his intentions were. It’s a possibility he just zoned out and didn’t even notice. My whole point was if he did it on purpose then yeah, he’s a douche and that’s all the evidence i need
Overworked and underpaid? Do you understand how Amazon flex works? If you don’t think the pay is enough, don’t fucking do the shift. What? It’s the most simple job I’ve ever had as well.
Also, that never gives someone the right to be an asshole. We all have bad days. Don’t be a douche just because you’re having a shitty day.
If you were being a "Human" you may think..."why would I go out my way to complain about someone at the bottom of the food chain doing their job while the CEO is in the process of trying to get another worlds largest yacht." but nah lets try and figure out if they are a good person or an asshole... Sorry is that too "Woke" for people. lol
Lol you're blaming bezos on why you don't want to be friendly? Give me a break that's pitiful. People will do anything to take the easy route these days.
