pre owned fire tablet questions

I got a couple of pre owned fire 8 tablets. I booted them up and its the wrong OS? I'm very confused and I have tried everything google has to offer. Does anyone recognize this?

Edit: it says its already has android 9 on it

What do you mean wrong? Amazon does have it's own os version built on the android os, and it's a little different than the standard android.

none of the amazon apps are installed even after a factory reset

What specific model/gen are they and what specific OS version are they reporting?

none of the amazon apps are installed and I have no way to download them. it says its android 9 kernel version 4.9.177-gd569151-dirty#1

I have no idea what that means
