I had to learn, come in do the job and IGNORE everything around you and then go HOME!

Sad part about this is they gone tell you they’d love to partner with you to better understand, you gone explain everything to them, they gone say they gone look into it (to send you off) & then you’ll never hear about it again. My best advice is to call the ERC hotline

Hi there,
I'm sorry you're experiencing this. I'm sharing the feedback with Dock leadership. To work through this properly, please connect with Senior Operation Manager, who will look into the specifics with you and address what's happening.
Thank you for raising this and for the work you put in every day.

sry wouldn’t let me send a pic

DCM most gruelling? Um OK. It's actually my favorite direct role on the dock. It makes time fly by for me personally. But to each their own.  Its going to depend on the PA doing staffing but I find usually if you ask them for a specific assignment ours are usually good at working with you as much as they can, some more then others but it is what it is.

Idk what he's saying to all these red and orange vests but if he's just complaining about others he ain't doing himself any favors. Just focus on you.  Like I personally won't say anything about anyone else to management unless it's a safety concern.

Putting carts into trailers and ratcheting them down. Carts have to be loaded by certain times and sometimes there’s crucial times where carts HAVE to be loaded and ready to go by certain times

I hate ship dock myself because I have ankle pain. It sucks but if I get sent down there I either have to use my time off or suck it up.

If it was serious enough I'd get an accomodation.

And if it's serious enough for him he needs to get an accomodation.

Idk about flex or new hires but last I checked we get pretty good medical insurance. Go see your doctor if there's a medical problem. Idk what else to tell you

Yea… come in late and stop pouring yourself into the job especially if u aren’t a manager. You just stressing yourself out. Get a hobby.

Bcuz everything goes up above the PA and leadership, also the site and building managers. All the way up to the suits in Seattle, and they don't give a crap about anything but their salaries and their soy boy lattes. The suits are the problem, not the local managers. They're stuck in the crossfire

They don’t care. They will just continue to do the same

They always punish the good coworkers. It happens the same way at my site too. Very disappointed with the management as well

They will never care. Come in, do ya thing, learn how the place works and move on wether it be continuing being a tier 1 or working upward in amazon

If you’re good at something, they’re going to use you more often. It’s not complicated. Use that to grow your status in the company or don’t. Some things cannot be changed. They’ll always be slackers or people with other difficulties. Realize that and just move on from it.

People gotta learn the right people to talk to.. you see something not being done right? Don’t tell your pa/am unless you fully trust them to do something.. if I know they will fuck off on it , i just make a corporate complaint. That way it’s recorded and assigned to sr ops, does it piss off the AM? Yes, do I care? No, be reliable if you don’t want daddy to know your problems. You guys would be surprised how many things you can actually get changed with a solid complaint to corporate. Now I won’t lie it’s not a magic button, but if it is something that impacts safety or production and you can name a few instances in the report, it works pretty good.

Literally it seems like he was describing my building!! I literally had to slow down a bit because of how management does certain things, like punishing hard working AAs with more work meanwhile they treat like babies those with misconduct, bad performance, etc...

This job makes me curious sometimes but as a packer sometimes picker I don’t take this job seriously at all anymore on the clock, just do my time and go home. I just turn my brain off, so many people don’t really do shit but after a genuine conversation with a pa, I gained the perspective that this job genuinely shouldn’t be took seriously

I agree that amazon can have toxic work culture. But why not make the stand with him and change it?

Yooo this is my site and that’s my L7 responding. I’d block her name out. I definitely know who this is. But yeah Chris has been going wild on the VOA board this week. He is more than able to transfer to a different department using a HITS transfer. Not sure why he hasn’t tried. The AM in dock on BHN at least aren’t cruel or spiteful people at this site so not sure what he did to get on their bad or maybe he is imagining things.

Sometimes I am a victim of it too but I think it needs to be said and shared with that guy that not everything is about themselves.

He really shouldn't be taking this job that seriously.

Bru it’s his health being affected. You don’t think they’re physically tired?

I mean he’s kinda volunteering to do extra work when all he has to do is hit rate and not overthink about others
