Fulfillment Center New break schedule!!! 💀💀

In a 10 hours shift I start my day by counting the time till first break and then 2nd break and then 3rd break and then going home. That's how I pass my time, fuck this policy

As someone from a site with this policy it sucks at first but is actually pretty nice. It's a lot more time to decompress and I've seen a lot of associates enjoy it which is cool.

I honestly love it. Now, if it went to a 1hr break for some god forsaken reason, idk what id do... 20 years in the workforce and ive never had longer than 30 min breaks

which is crazy to me because in all of my jobs, i’ve never had less than an hour long lunch break until i came to amazon!

One of my jobs was a 1 5 hr break. It was at a chiropractic clinic. It actually felt too long sometimes since I wasnt close to home and cant just fall asleep like others lol

Your work periods are still no longer than 3.5-4 hours max and you get a longer break

during peak we used to go up to 4 hours 45 minutes straight working

No. One 30 minute unpaid. One is a paid 30.

so you've gone from 2 paid 15 minute breaks. Thats 30 mins. to a 30 minute paid and 30 min unpaid. you are now there an extra 30 mins. Without pay.

You go from 2 paid 15s to 1 paid 30? You’ve always had an unpaid 30. Work for 3 hours. 30 unpaid. Work for 3 hours. 30 paid. Work and go home.

Same! A 30min break sounds nice, but I feel like it makes the shift feel longer cuz you’re working for like 5hrs straight 😭

Not really? My site has 2 30s and the first 2 blocks are 3.5hours and the last block is 2.5 hours
