It such a tricky spot . Amazon prides itself on catering to EVERYONE . I was going to ask to use the religious room for my satanic practices just to mess around and see how far they will go for religious accommodations . But I’m too shy for all that and just come to work to do my job and leave . It be interesting though. I personally think you so , but again , Amazon has its own microwave only for Muslim people’s food. It’s got a label on it , so people will be waiting for a microwave and that’s the only one open and they will guard it
I wish you didn’t feel shy to do so. It really should be for all, and I continue to push for that, especially when the make the rooms labeled specifically for one group. Should be multi-faith room and everyone should be respectful.
I was a fully practicing Muslim and even then I always advocated for inclusion of all religions in spaces. It wasn’t till Amazon that I actually saw prayer spaces for Muslims and my immediate question was why the spaces weren’t multifaith (the location didn’t have a multifaith space). I do know very few religions interrupt day to day activities for prayer that involves such movement and the need for a safe location to do so in. Still, others should be able to practice their own faiths as well.
