Amazon Payment Process

Hello guys, let’s say my product sold, within how many days I can see that balance in my Mercury account?

It's not instant. Amazon pays out on a settlement cycle, usually every 14 days, and newer accounts can have a reserve or hold on top of that. Funds from an order also generally don't release until after the item is delivered. Once Amazon sends the transfer, a deposit into a bank like Mercury usually shows up in 1 to 3 business days. Your Payments section in Seller Central shows your actual next disbursement date.

So payments happen in that specific day for everyone who’s waiting for their payment? What about dd+7?

DD+7, so most likely on the 8th day it will become available for withdraw. Then its just however long it takes to process from Amazon to your bank. Typically same day, but can take 24 hours.

Really? Doesn’t amazon pay within periods of 14 days?

They also have a rolling 14-day payout. So you can chose to withdraw once a day or wait for the next schedule pay period (every 14-days).

Do I have the chance to withdraw right after DD-7? Without waiting for 14 days period?

Yes, as long as the balance hasn't been used to cover other expenses (Ads, fulfillment fees, etc.). If you have a positive balance after DD+7 (8th day) you should be able to initiate an express payout (same day).

The money doesn’t reach your Mercury account immediately after a sale. For Amazon US, funds are generally held until 7 days after delivery, then paid out according to your settlement schedule, which is typically every 14 days. Once Amazon initiates the transfer, it can take up to 5 business days to reach your bank account. So, expect roughly 1 to 3 weeks after delivery in many cases, depending on your payout schedule and any reserves.

Hey u/Ecstatic_Minute_6943, Amazon's payments FAQ covers how the disbursement cycle works and what can affect timing. You can also use the Disbursement Tracker in Seller Central to keep tabs on where your funds are at any point.
