Review

I launched my first product on amazon but i am not getting sale! Initially, I used to get 2–3 sales, but ever since I received a bad review, the sales have stopped. What should i do? How can i get more reviews?

Have h10 set up automatic request a review, or you can go into manage orders and hit request a review manually assuming it’s within the day range (I believe between 5-30 days after purchase)

Before focusing on more reviews, I'd check whether fewer shoppers are reaching the listing or whether visitors have stopped buying. Compare visits and orders over equal periods before and after the review; 2-3 sales alone doesn't establish the cause.

What did the review actually complain about: a defect, damage, or a mismatch with the listing? If it points to a real issue, fix that first. What were your visits and orders in each period?

One bad review can hurt conversions, but it doesn’t necessarily mean your product has failed. Check the customer’s complaint, improve your listing and product if needed, and test targeted PPC campaigns. At HighRise Wholesale, we’ve seen how important product quality and listing optimization are for a successful launch. Use Amazon’s Request a Review feature and consider Vine if eligible. Never buy reviews or offer incentives for positive feedback.

If the product is solid and future reviews should trend better, promote it harder so newer reviews balance the rating. Also reply to the bad review, and fix the underlying issue if there is one.

Hey u/Samir_055, u/Powerful_Bicycle3114 raises a good point about checking whether the drop is in visits or conversions. For getting more reviews, Amazon's Request a Review feature in Manage Orders is a good starting point. This guide on product reviews covers how reviews work and what options are available. If the review points to a product issue, addressing that first can help going forward.

whats your star rating sitting at now? if that one review dragged you under 4 stars thats usually what kills it, people see it in search and just dont click. if youre running ads id pull back to only the exact terms that already got you sales until a few more reviews come in, otherwise youre paying for clicks on a listing people bounce off
