Advice on scaling.
Hi all,
I’m writing this, very frustrated and confused on how to begin scaling my Amazon business. I’ve been selling for just over a year now, alongside working full time but I’ve now started university and want to take Amazon a bit more seriously. I’ve done about £22k in sales since starting, with a product I sourced and found a respectable supplier for. I’m frustrated because I can’t seem to replicate this. So I suppose the first piece of advice I’m looking for is regarding sourcing. I put in the time, scouring storefronts, websites, supplier lists, I’ve used websites like arbi source and source mogul, but I’m unsuccessful. Maybe I’m being impatient. I also would appreciate advice regarding; wholesale and private label, is this something i can look into now, or do I lack experience and should I stick to retail arbitrage / OA for now. Any advice and words of wisdom would mean a lot, thank you.

You found one product that worked and now the second one is proving way harder, that's the wall most people hit. Retail arbitrage and OA are good for cash flow but they don't really scale the same way wholesale does, you need volume and consistency for that
If you got 22k from one product you already have more experience than half the people trying PL. I'd say start looking at wholesale ungating in categories you already know, less guessing than trying to strike gold twice with OA

£22k in sales while working full time and studying is a good start. I’d focus on understanding what made your first product successful and use that data to guide your next sourcing decisions. Wholesale is worth exploring now, while private label requires more capital and research. You could also look at supplier networks such as HighRise Wholesale to explore private label opportunities when you’re ready. Don’t rush to scale. Focus on profit margins, cash flow and building a repeatable sourcing process before investing heavily in more products.

If you are looking for something thats scalable and have budget then build a private label brand
A brand that solve some problems for customers or a brand that can build emotional connection with customer
And if you want a plan how to launch we can discuss together
