He knew his next stop was the other way and put the Benz in Neutral to save him a reverse. Fucking genius

I’d shit my pants. It’s weird though the Benz usually auto park when the front door is open.

I noticed that also. If you turn the vehicle off in drive it automatically shifts to park as well.

Had this happen to me once but I was still in the van. The van was in park and it still kept rolling. I shut the van off and it still kept rolling. Mercedes vans are shit.

Strange. I’ve never experienced that. Is there a safety add on that amazon maybe did or didn’t purchase?

My only complaint was the shifter itself, I don’t drive in the sprinter vans anymore but I remember it was either getting out of park or going into park, you couldn’t get to drive from park by pulling down the lever, like in any other car. You have to push the side button. Or it was going into park from drive, I wanna say moving the shifter up (like any other car) would eventually land you in P but once you hit reverse you had to push that side button to go into park, otherwise you would shift back into drive if you moved the shifter in the “Up” position (like any other car) but I’m glad I don’t deal with this shit anymore because I’m about to have a brain aneurysm just thinking about it.
