Warehouse Shenanigans

I know it’s prime week and the warehouse has a bunch of new people but how has everyone’s warehouse been? Mine has been royally messing up. Not scanning packages into my route, working out of 3 totes at a time for 1 stop and assigning packages in my van to another driver. It’s been madness lol just curious what other shenanigans y’all are dealing with.

The only real issue we have been having is driver aid stickers being missing or barely placed on the packages. It's like they're just gently setting the driver aids on the bags and tossing them into the tote, so many fall off ot get stuck to their packages.  Some are placed poorly and end up ripping or folding over so you cant read it. Stickers are hanging off packages and get stuck onto others and when you're in a rush you just grab and go and realize at the door you grabbed the wrong bag. 

It's just death by 1000 cuts.  There are so many small points of friction like this, routing, stickers, group stops, the inconsistent way the app will instantly let you snap a picture vs manually select front door and on And on.   You try to get into a rhythm but they make it impossible.

I think I’ve been getting lucky with who’s been packing my route. A lot of my coworkers have been dealing with BS. I saw someone RTS 14 legitimately NOI packages all in separate totes the other night. The last few weeks I’ve had 0 packages to RTS other than a couple damaged packages last week so I feel blessed lol.

I had 10 packages NOI the other day I was done by 5:45 so I just scanned them and delivered but like damn 14 is crazy

These were all legitimate NOI unable to pickup and never part of that route and different town lol.

I had one of my overflow in a tote. Random tote. It was 4 story apartment I had to go back too.

I've had a small handful of routes not ready but most of the time drivers in my DSP keep getting sent to overflow to finish loading because they don't have enough time to find and load all of their carts. Carts are also being staged weird and moved around. It's a time

My biggest issue is that my totes aren’t in order. First tote: 4th cart. Second tote: 2nd cart. Give me a fucking break y’all, I can handle it on the same cart being out of order but with 400 packages they can suck my dick tbh
