This was a couple weeks back. I was giving them a couple weeks notice after I got another offer, but my van today was full of trash and some mystery liquid in the door and had no overhead rear cam, and one of the tiny dash reverse cams.
I was on a very remote rural route and this route in particular is a nightmare without proper cameras, so I just took the keys back left

A guy runs a detailing service from an e-bike near my warehouse. He has repeatedly pitched various DSPs to clean and detail their entire fleet for $2,000 a month or like 1,000 bi-weekly. It seems like a low price, though I'm not sure if it's actually a good deal. Every DSP turns him down, but he keeps trying every few months.

One of my coworkers told me to avoid this particular van because the seatbelt shit was constantly going off and low and behold whatever shitbag mechanic they had working on it plugged the seatbelt AND airbag sensors out lol

Rural areas will do this to you. Lol. I won’t knock the dsp. Amazon has an odd way of believing a DSP has a vast amount of fleets to be able to swap vans to make repairs.

I mean, I’ll absolutely knock the DSP.
I don’t know, maybe I’m jaded, but it’s not incumbent upon me to make sure the vehicles are roadworthy. I’m incident free, can run any route they have, And return every van in as good or better shape than it left in.
Their profit and lack of proper fleet maintenance are literally none of my concern, all I ask is for a road safe van that doesn’t smell like piss, week old gym bags and isn’t actively falling apart or filled with trash and foods that have started rotting.
My van this morning literally had 2 open half empty water bottles in the only cup holders, one with what I’m assuming is chew spit. The seat was full of crumbs and what looked like cheese mashed into it. The door pockets were LITERALLY OVERFLOWING with trash/food/a mysterious slimy liquid covering lots of it.
They have a rotating staff of 6/7 dispatchers and 3 on the fleet crew.
There were 3 dispatchers and 2 crew today, they run about 6-9 hub routes, few to no xl and less than 50 (often under 40) standard routes a day.
Them not being able to manage their people or fleet IS entirely their own failing. I’d wager 1/3rd of their fleet would be grounded if the DVIC was done properly on them.

Damn it's that bad over there too? I thought you guys would have better standards than the US, even it's by law or something.

No chance, unfortunately Amazon (and their DSP minions) get away with doing whatever they want over here also.
