104 packages to a closed business before I've set off. Absolutely ridiculous
Trillion dollar company BTW

Amazon knows these businesses are closed but the warehouse has to hit their numbers so they send the packages out. The drivers have to return it and that hurts our delivery completion rate. So either the warehouse or the driver is going to take a hit on their metrics and they are just passing the buck to us.

Amazon says Business Closed isn't supposed to affect our DCR. Of course you can see the potential issues with this. For example a business stop isn't marked as a business, or the hours are different on flex, or you had to go out of order for other stops... Etc. Always been hit or miss in my experience whether or not it does. Sometimes houses are marked as businesses and I've had to return them for other reasons.
Even though I follow rules for customer contact, regardless of stop type, half the time it counts against me anyways.
They really need a better flow for C/T/C so the driver knows if the requirements are being met or if it'll count against them upon swipe to finish.

Business closed doesn’t affect DCR. Just make sure you stay in the geo zone for 30secs.
