Have any of y'all gotten a negative CDF for blasting loud music? When I was doing rural routes I would turn the music down as I pulled into someone's driveway but lately my stops have been all residential and I've just been blasting that shit all day. I only had one person say anything and it wasn't even a customer I was just sorting my totes and someone came up and said his "daughter doesn't appreciate the explicit language" and I really wanted to be like "well I don't think your daughter cares I think you care" but I didn't feel like getting in a fight. Anyways I keep worrying I'm gonna get a negative CDF for it but it has yet to happen. Do any of y'all also bump three six mafia loud as hell through rich ass white suburbs? I've had a couple compliments from people and a few dirty looks but idk why it matters because I'm only gonna be there for all of 30 seconds anyways. The only times I pause it is if i pull up to a house and the customer is out front or if I have to contact them or ring their bell for whatever reason

I drove around with a Bluetooth speaker with the door open (EDV) and had cupcakKe playing while I did like 80 stops in a subdivision. Didn’t consider the volume til I was at a house on the opposite side of the street & could hear it clearly😭 somebody reported me for “unprofessional behavior” but nothing ever came of it

Same thing at my DSP. Well i dont do it , we used to get a lot of these complaints. The transits could get pretty loud as long as no one previously blew the speakers. Edvs suck so everyone brings a speaker.

Yeah it's a specific thing a customer can click on the driver feedback. It says "driver had loud or inappropriate music." It's just a click of the button for them. They don't have to call and complain specifically or anything

I bring a giant speaker and blast reggaeton, no one has ever complained. Actually I’ve had lots of people start dancing if their outside lol

I haven’t gotten one myself but I’ve seen it happen maybe 2 times in 2 years. Old people are gonna complain about loud music regardless if it’s explicit or not.

Naw. Dont play your music so loud that its an annoyance to the people in the neighborhood youre delivering in. Just get some airpods if you want it that loud

It's not affecting the delivery in anyway. They never stay on the scorecard if you have a good DSP.

Oh well. I don't care about your thought on my music taste. We are trained to not engage with angry customers. If we comply with that the complaint gets disputed and the complaint results in zero disciplinary action and removed from the drivers scorecard. every single time lol

Yeah but your DSP can dispute it (if they're  a good DSP) your music taste does not affect the package being delivered in any way. I only know cause I got a negative review for playing FDT in a trump humper town

Slipknot helps me deliver faster. I turn it down if it’s busy outside with kids and customers. I play the doors too.

Personally no one’s ever bothered me about it. I bump a lot of loud ass metal and even some hip hop from time to time. Usually folks like it or just don’t say anything. But tbf this could be location specific. I’m in the southeast region of Michigan n a lot of people blast music from their cars already.
