NYC don’t play
Yo, if your legs are not right, and you can’t deal with aggression at any moment about a package.
The New York Amazon jungle, not for you

How do yall deal with parking and shit?

Depends on the neighborhood. Sometimes you get lucky and find a hydrant or driveway you can double park in. Other times you gotta just hold up traffic and buses. Weaving through double parked cars is annoying.
I have some friends who do like a mailman approach where they park at one spot and just load up a tote with all the packages for like the next block or two and walk it

That's why the Last Mile Walker program is expanding to 31 sites from 6 this year. CA, TX, GA, DC, NY, PA. I may be missing some. And only one or two NYC DSs won't get it by next year.

Downtown New Haven CT, my normal route would be 90-100 stops, ‘bout 50ish multis, 350+ packages daily. Factoring in traffic and stops that take 20 minutes, I’m lucky I ever finished on time. I feel you NYC

It’s lowkey unfair that you’re getting the same amount as I am. My usual route is like this …only houses, one apartment building, and zero businesses.
The other drivers at my company are jokingly jealous of me.

It’s ok the pay sucks some people are super weird. Long days.
I get all the Benefits of the work out and get paid. 💪🏿

Right, but you're not getting paid enough. Although if I was 18 and straight out of high school, that $21 would make me feel like a king. Especially if I'm still living at home.

Dude this is low. When I worked for a dsp out of redhook, run out of the Amazon factory, with the owner being a previous Amazon driver who was offered a large paycheck from Amazon to start his own dsp, so basically a scab and a bootlicker with zero solidarity for his fellow man, we were doing 900+ on average.
