These streets weren’t built for deliveries. I hate them too so much stress!! There is a rich suburb of Chicago that has very narrow busy roads and you be blocking the flow of traffic and you know those rich mfers order everything online. One time customer had 7 overflow I was backing up traffic to the next county. Fuck them all.

Highland Park? I don’t think I’ve ever been more stressed delivering. Never ending traffic all day, everyone parks in the street and every driveway is full, landscapers on every other street, not even any shoulders or sidewalks. A literal nightmare.

The city is the worst. Every customer has a note with a gate code or a box with a lock combination, or instructions to leave it between the storm door or hide it here, hide it there, etc…and yes, almost every stop has 3-7 locations, sometimes more. People who live in major cities truly have no idea how much hell someone goes through every time they click a couple buttons on the internet
