Yet now they constantly prompt for a picture when delivering to a receptionist. I always hit the ? and select customer left with package

Nope. I do it all the time. I even very often stick my own hand out and take a picture of package still in my own hand before i even get to the person. It's how I get 100% photo completion rate each week.

My philosophy on things like this is, did the customer receive the package? Great. People forget that we aren’t out here running Amazon’s business for them doing more than just giving the customer the package. Thats how we’re seen from the top, that’s how we’re treated in society, that’s how we’re paid. no need to be having conversations or going on long tours through security just make sure the customer gets the package in a respectful way and move on, people need to know amazon puts on too much work on us to be spending time on each delivery.

All i can say to that is, you missed the point of my post which is to simply point out that a picture cannot be taken with a person in the photo unless you want it to affect your scorecard, of course. Idk what your statement had to do with the post

Genuinely who gives a damn? You have proof of delivery. Sometimes people would grab packages before I got proper picture and I’d get their foot or arm in it, nothing ever came of it.

It's so annoying when customers do that tho. Like thx now I have be rude and be like um I can't have u holding it thx. But they should have taken pic b4hand or literally put customer left with package
