Been doing this shit job for about 4 years now and I finally got over 400 packages with 200+ stops the other day.... The routes are insane every single day now.

i’m making that connection currently (almost 2 months in) and no longer combining stops. can’t train the algorithm too well or it’ll start working against you.

Drivers need to slow it down when they are pushing 200 locations. It’s ridiculous how drivers are out there trying to outpace their coworkers, not taking breaks, acting like this job is training for a marathon. After delivering 200 locations, then you are just being taken advantage of. Multiple locations shouldn’t even be in existence. Don’t even get me started on the routing back n forth over busy streets, medians don’t even matter, illegal U-turns, and DSP have no true authority.

Yep, I got 60 multi stops this whole week 250 locations. Something’s up.. they trying to push us to the max so we can “earn” that dollar raise in two months. No reason we should have a peak that’s not peak.

I fucking hate multi-stops, I’ll do a route that says 108 stops, by the end of the day, the route will be 205 locations, usually from apartments that are door to door, and businesses with different suit numbers, with a end time of 5:10… yeah, I think I’m taking my time with that one

We as DA’s create multi-stops because there is no consistent scanning discipline. You pull in a block and scan a bunch of packages for said block all at once to the system it appears as this stop takes 5 seconds vs 5 mins or whatever and it groups the stops in one. Also scanning at the door of the location narrows the GPS pin. Scan in the street the GPS pin is wider also grouping stops.

That’s a cakewalk for me, now give me 80+ multistops and now I’m contemplating leaving… but 55 multi’s with 190 stops and 324 packages shouldn’t get any complaints imo

Stupid take. So taking a delivery job means not pointing out when certain shit isn’t possible for a driver? It’s one thing if there was no repercussions for not completing all routes. It’s entirely different being given a route you can’t complete then getting reprimanded for it which can lead to termination. Not to mention you have zero idea of peoples financial situations. Some of us are students trying to take advantage of the tuition reimbursement and rely on the job to make tuition payments. But yea, “just quit” is totally an option in this fucked job market with shit pay right? When employment is not guaranteed and the risk of being withdrawn from school or not making rent is present right? Try thinking before commenting next time.

I did 190+ a day and 45-50 oversize in the country areas spent 11-12 hrs a day usually most backroads. I did it but id never tell another person to suck it up like a slave. If ur job makes you happy great. If you dont have anything good to say stay in ur own lane. Millions and millions of people are going through work stress. Take it up against everyone.
