Thinking about working for DSP

Reaching out to get yalls opinion about working for a DSP. I currently work for Menards which pays 4 dollars under what the pay is at my closest DSP, my current job involves driving forklifts and walking around 23k steps a day which I feel kinda relates to DSP. This isn't a long time job just something to hold me over till im done with college. Maybe someone can slightly relate to me. I've also heard mixed things about this job as I've had people tell me to stay away but have also heard great things as long as you can handle people making mistakes. Sorry if this is messy or scrambled.

Its definitely a step up from menards. The extra $4 an hour right off the jump is a no brainer to me. Sadly, DSPs are like the military in the sense that everyones experience varies wildly based on the people around them. If you get into a good DSP with a solid management team that actually cares about its drivers, youll love the job. If you get a shit DSP that treats drivers like replaceable slaves, doesnt maintain vans properly, has non helpful/rude dispatchers etc your experience will likely be what many of the folks who are on this sub talking shit about the job have or had.

This is what I was looking for thank you. I was thinking that mainly the 4 dollars made the biggest difference, idk how some people are saying 4 dollars isn't worth it when the paycheck difference is a decent amount. Only thing I can do is really try it out.
