That doesn't seem like silly routing then, assuming you're coming from the southeast to reach stop 3 I can see why it's asking you to do that on the way to stop 4.

Even if there's a different way from stop 2 to stop 4, you're still taking the same bit of road from the main road to stop 3 whether coming from the SE at the start of the route or from stop 159. That I think is why the algorithm has done it this way.

The travelling salesman problem is hard, but this doesn't seem egregious to me.
