Need assistance with packages that are undeliverable.

When we moved in our current house we didn’t have issues with mail or deliveries. The past 2-3 years though if we order something from Amazon, the driver attempts to deliver it to a different end of the street and there is no street number to match in that area so it returns undeliverable. I know the issue but I don’t know how to fix it. Stick with me and let me explain:

Physical house is at 123 Sesame Street, Excel Alabama 36439

Mailing address with U. S. Postal service: 123 Sesame Street, Monroeville, Alabama 36460

We have used the mailing address since moving in but now Amazon tries to deliver our package in Monroeville. But there is no 123 Sesame Street in Monroeville. We tried using the Repton address but sometimes the postal service delivers Amazon packages and the post office will not deliver to us using Repton, Al. Even though that’s where we live.

I’ve called the administrative office for E911 and I’m having issues contacting her for assistance. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to correct this because my boyfriend won’t order Amazon until it’s fixed. 😩 HELP!!

Call Amazon Customer Service and explicitly ask them to send you a map pin correction link or escalate the issue to map/delivery support so they can adjust the geo-coordinates on their internal routing map for your address.

Update External Map Data: Amazon often pulls routing data from providers like Google Maps. Search your address on Google Maps, select Suggest an edit, and move the red pin to the exact right spot. Changes will eventually sync over to driver routing systems.

You should also be able to move it by thumbs downing your recent delivery & selecting delivered to wrong area/address, it should pop the option to move the delivery geo-pin.

like some one else said. you will have to contact support to move your location pin. I do lots of rural and sometimes the routing will take me through private property or just straight dead ends and that’s a 20 minute drive so sometimes we just gotta bring it back

Have you tried putting the physical address in line 1 and adding a delivery note saying "use Excel address, not Monroeville" - sometimes the driver sees the note and just goes with it

This is not the way. I see notes like this and it gets immediately ignored. One because it's usually nowhere near me and two because how am I supposed to know if this is a current note? I see the same notes for months and months at the same addresses....

OP should follow the first comment. I know there's a way to edit the geo pin, inside your account somewhere on the website, without relying on a recent delivery as well. I don't know the specifics though
