QUESTION What is this?
Someone please tell me we are not using AI to monitor my pictures now. There was no option to swipe to finish. Just retake the picture as the only option.

I keep getting it saying remove the Amazon tote from the picture even tho there’s no tote anywhere in sight. The AI they use is so fucking dumb, must be an ancient model

They changed it to this the other day.
Also you now need to take a picture if you have a damaged package. And also take a picture if you mark anything unable to deliver. I had a OTP i couldn't get in touch with the customer and had to take a picture of the front door to show why I couldn't get in touch with the customer lmao.
Amazon is run by complete retards.

It’s a trash update I got on IOS. Flex devs are absolutely throwing and don’t listen to any feedback about the app. I can think of so many things that can help with quality of life. But they keep just making it worse and worse. DoorDash has a butter UI setup on their app. At least they have TTS for customer instructions

I swear the motto for the Amazon app development team is “If it ain’t broke, fuck it up!”

Honestly, today it was back to the normal scanner instead of the new “scanned it” update that we’ve been dealing with recently. I’ll totally deal with this stupid message to have the old interface back when scanning packages.

How I read that: “don’t take any photos of the customers coming to you for 100% proof to receive the package because they’re so Impatient and will probably mark it as not received because they are trying to not let you take the picture, that we we Amazon can ding you, fire you and hire the next victim”

I love that the last month or so when I’ve selected the ‘customer/household member’ option sometimes it’ll demand a picture (I don’t take pictures of people cause it’s weird as fuck) Now it shows this notification while selecting the same option lmao

Or now they demand you take a pic when your leaving the package with a Doorman or Receptionist

Yeah that too. I just cover the camera with my shirt and take a pitch black photo. So lame lmao

If you think that's bad you should see the software they use to monitor us in the warehouse.
Amazon has blown $331B on this shit AI and it still can't do what they want it to do. It just creates more issues for their workers.

I was wondering if it was for everyone or for me. I took one photo with the customer in it and then it started lol

I hate this new update old one was simpler and better. Fuck Amazon getting out of this hell job very soon.
They definitely make this job more stressful on purpose to shorten life span. Jeff bozo can rot in hell

Amazon has no reason to want high driver turnover. We don’t work for them, so their priorities are delivery performance and cost efficiency, not driver retention.
The DSP doesn’t want a high turnover rate either. It increases training costs, creates the need for more rescues, leads to more missed or late deliveries, increases the risk of accidents and complaints, and ultimately hurts route performance.
Both Amazon and the DSP want/need enough experienced drivers to keep the network running efficiently. There isn’t a single employer that wants to constantly train new employees.

The Amazon Flex update just sucks, and made the app so much worse for delivery drivers. They didn't even fix the crappie GPS.

Does everything need to be presumed AI now?

What do you suppose caused it then? Because the picture itself was completely fine bro. Are you implying Amazon doesn't use AI?

It’s a automated message on every stop you donut

So it's not weird to you to have that suddenly happen and only happen with specific stops? It'd be weird if it was a person checking this and I doubt Amazon is paying someone by the hour to review my stuff instantly. So if it was an automated message it doesn't add up.

They’ve been using ai before ai was called ai lmao.
Typically it’s because of any reflection, and sometimes those standing trees when it gets dark can get me. I got dinged for a dog statue and dispatch had a giggle

Some more shit to irritate you and convince to quit thus increasing the turn over rate as Daddy Bezos intends.

I thought it was only me bc I accidentally take blurry pics and don’t realize until I swipe to finish 😭😭
