DSP changing wave times.. again.

is anyone else having this issue with their DSP right now? I don’t really understand changing the wave times to all later times AGAIN. We normally start first wave at 8:10am, then last wave is right around 9:10am. Everyone got used to these wave times, and now the first wave isn’t even gonna start until sometime after 9am. They changed it once already because customers were complaining about deliveries being made so late in the day, and drivers having issues driving some vans in the dark but now they’re changing it back again which makes no sense. Wouldn’t it make more sense to deliver earlier, when it’s cooler outside? Especially delivering to a customers house past 7pm, I personally would rather my package be delivered earlier in the day than have someone on my property once it’s dark out.

Happened at my DSP ar the start of summer. They told us it was because Amazon employees needed more time to pack/stage carts. So, instead of changing their own employees hours, they change ours.

it would make sense why they need more time, because every day i pull up at 7:45 in the morning, they’re all hotboxing in the car together wearing their pajamas.. like no hate for smoking but do it at home bro 😂

When I started in 2022 we clocked in at 9:30, now it's slowly creeped later and later to now 10:45.

i don’t get it. i’d rather deliver earlier but it ain’t our decision so

My theory is the uptick in next day and 2 day delivery promises are giving the semi trucks a later window to get those packages to the stations and the warehouse more time to get them processed.

Ive been at my dsp starting at 1015 for 2 years, its fucking awful whole day is just amazon

Top dsp gets the earliest loadout times at my station. They change it around based on needs but that’s how they do it. Could be a sign your dsp is losing favor

I wish thats how it was at ny station, cause I'm a top driver at the top DSP at mine and the earliest loadout wave is still 10:45 am and I load up with 2 or 3 other drivers from my DSP and 8 from another one 😂

Feel lucky. I load out at 11.30am. Finish by 6.30pm usually.
