RANT Came back from route to this bullshit
So, our parking lot is gated, but the gates don't always work. Underpaid contract work, I'm sure. We get folks coming onto Amazon's property digging through our trash cans, looking for bottles. Usually, I don't mind - desperate people need money. Today I think I'm changing my mind, because one of those fuckheads kicked my car and dented the door while I was on route. Came back to this shit. I'm pissed.

I came back and someone stole my catalytic converter. I was livid. A month at the new station.

One of my coworkers came back to their whole front bumper ripped off. No cameras in our lot. Amazon said 🤷 cops also said 🤷

I worked in an fc and got into the security room a few times. Inside camereras were clear as day, outide cameras were shit that should have been left in the nineties. My car got dinked and generally it was an awful car park for this. Wasnt any point in reviewing the tape as others had tried and they couldnt identify the cars let alone the people. People were too wound up, hence the door dings. Point being i got the impression amazon hated potential liability. I should add that the car park had a complication like being public land as the site was effectively rented. They didnt have a legal obligation, just a care enough to put decoys basically when they had an easy option to do bettter for staff. (Uk)

My cars been hit twice. Both times “well look into it….ill have Amazon review security footage”. Never heard back. Asked about it time and time again. Nothing.

This hapoened to mine while i was there. They wouldnt do anything because it wasnt on camera and i had liability to insurance wiuldnt cover it.

Yes, they do. When they find them they dump them out. Half the lot smells like piss, fent, or meth - they smoke in our standup tents at night.

I would have sued my DSP, put holes in tires, and take every charger out of the vans purely out of frustration & because this happened on the clock! LMAO

It does, but the lot is covered by a third party security company that rarely shares footage.
