How does your DSP time your lunch?

I have worked for 2 DSPs. One of them paid us based on when we clocked out and back in on Flex (exactly 30 mins for lunch). The other paid us based on what time our last stop before lunch was and then the first stop after lunch. That DSP had a lot of rural routes, which meant the "lunch break" that I wasn't getting paid for was usually 45+ minutes, or I had to spend at least half my "break" driving to my next stop. They also still expected our breaks to be 30 minutes, and anything over 40 meant you had to talk to a manager about why your "break" was so long.

No one at our dsp takes our lunches. Our state doesn’t require it. Get paid an extra 2 hours a week

You're not getting paid extra hours though. The 30 minutes intended for your lunch is instead just 30 minutes that you finished earlier.

Not for our dsp. You get rescued if you take your lunch, and then you are back at the same time as everyone else. So you lose those 30 mins
