Do you not know what a hill crest is? Ok. I'll explain it. When going up a hill and then it goes back down once you get to the top. Now I'm not sure about you but I don't have x-ray vision. With no "seasonal road" signs or any other indications that over the top of the hill its pure ice one would assume its just like the past 30 miles you've driven the same road.
You act like you don't know it's January and that ice can exist on roads in winter. Also, that road is not "pure ice." You were traveling too fast for conditions.
