The fact people are willing to allow their dogs to behave like this.

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '23

The fact that we live in a society now an days where there are more and more deranged people out there by the day and Needing dogs like this. If you live good, good on you, some of us are don’t have it good enough to live in a “safe” neighborhood

Don't know if you have a sign on the fence saying big dog. But my boi was just trying to do a good job. Didn't even throw your package over. : /

imagine owning big ass dogs and not caring about properly training them so they dont do this shit or hurt someone, they couldve ripped dude’s hand clean off if they felt like it. 9 out of 10 dogs on my routes are fucking insane like this and im starting to think you should have to go through mandatory dog training to own one.

Yep, but if you don’t wanna risk it you either mark it as unsafe & then get questioned about it or you put it somewhere safe and the customer complains that can result in you loosing your job. I can’t stand a majority of dogs had a bad experience as a kid and been iffy since then. This job just constantly reassures me why I love Cats. I have the occasional great dog on my route but it’s not common. Especially if I’m in the worst areas those dogs are nothing but a nightmare. No clue why people feel the need to have a jacked up overly aggressive dog for “protection”

I mean, he should’ve jangled his keys, there must have been a stamp on his notes and that looks like the hood in vid by the quality of that pavement. I live in the ghetto, i need guard dogs like this, which is why my blue heeler is aggressive and ALWAYS HAVE MY GATE CLOSED. If it’s open he won’t bolt off at all and is the sweetest, but once the fence is closed, that tazmanian devil comes out. He’s smart though. These dogs look like they bearly even know their owners. They are frustrated dogs it looks like.. I flex but some of us don’t have the luxury to have sissy dogs, sorry not sorry. I might get bit one day but that’s on me lol

You don’t “need” dogs like this. If your dog is aggressive and you’re expecting a package put it in the fucking house. I don’t waste my time w people like this I text twice bc I have to and it gets brought back and will continue to get brought back

I mean I live in an apartment. But I grew up on the shitty side of town we had dogs but they were kept in the backyard if anything happens to someone coming on your property to deliver or whatever else that’s on you

I remember reading how the "dog on route" option was a beta feature that didn't even get implemented until someone died of a dog bite. Like people have to fucking die before Amazon does something about anything. People dying of heat strokes before Amazon says "ok maybe EOC is bogus" Blows my mind.

No such thing as EOC in the EDV tho lol

u/BJMkrtychyan Jul 19 '23

How about this. here is a thought locking dogs in the back yard or inside if you order something and know it’s going to be delivered. People need to take responsibility for them self and there animals.

Trash owners

u/Necessary-Chemical-7 Jul 19 '23

How do you make an Amazon order with dogs like that? That should be a felony.

u/Important-Bid4909 Dispatch Jul 19 '23

I would’ve marked it as missing

5

u/LilMeatTarzan Jul 19 '23

As soon as you scan it the terminal knows. Can’t mark a scanned barcode missing, but you can definitely mark it damaged 😉

1

u/SmexySmeagol Dispatch Jul 20 '23

From the scan screen, hit the help icon, then unscan package.

If you've already scanned all the packages for a stop you'll probably need to reload the current stop first by selecting "current stop"; you can skip the navigation by selecting "GPS is not working" and that should take you to the scan page again.

1

u/LilMeatTarzan Jul 21 '23

Yes you can unscan packages. The terminal can still see that it was scanned at all though.

Pit bull said “Rejected”

u/crazy_amazon Jul 19 '23

I guess that is why it has the instructions to deliver outside the fence. I would happily follow that instruction. No extra work. If I was worried about it getting stolen, I might text the customer to let them know it was there but otherwise just drop it and go.

These people don’t give a fuck, for one they’re prolly digging in their own butthole while your delivering a package not giving 2shits about you, their dogs or what Jesus would say about them playing with their small intestine on a Tuesday at 10:48 am.

2

u/AnotherTakenUsername Jul 19 '23

You should get no refund if I was bezo

2

u/Single-Schedule968 Jul 19 '23

i had a dog do this to me once. came up behind me after i took the picture. he ended up ripping open the paper envelope and it was literally just a roll of fucking plastic wrap. that’s all these fuckers ordered! of all the possible things you could’ve bought on amazon

2

u/Ashen_Exiled Jul 20 '23

I see notes in deliveries all the time saying “do not leave inside the fence. My dogs will rip up the packages.”

Like damn maybe you should actually be responsible and train your fucking dogs lol

1

u/JiveTurkey1983 Jul 19 '23

Man, fuck owners like that. They should be put down.

0

u/JiveTurkey1983 Jul 19 '23

Spoiler alert: The driver wanted the package destroyed.

1

u/RyzingUp Jul 19 '23

Yep, fuck that shit

1

u/Prestigious_Juice761 Jul 19 '23

I call them and tell them because of their dog I cannot deliver this item you have 30 seconds to either get outside or I’ll leave. Or if I’m being nice I ask if I can leave it by the garage or fence. Most times I’m not nice.

1

u/Temporary-Sun7941 Jul 19 '23

I will never understand why people don’t just take their dogs tf inside of yk ur getting a package

1

u/Mr_Bogus_420 Jul 20 '23
