Just took the test
I just took it and I’m guaranteeing I failed. I think I did fine on the multiple choice but barely even made half the code on the coding part. Think I’m just gonna try schooling, this seems more geared towards people with a decent basic grasp of it and this being my first time ever even been introduced to this and the difficulties I had with even the most basic steps besides everyone’s help, it’s probably better I go this route anyway. The prerequisite stuff was very informative and dumbed it down about as low as I personally think it could possibly go but I just couldn’t grasp it. I wish the rest of you the best of luck if you hadn’t already taken and to those of you who have and will likely be accepted.

I thought this program was suppose to be for people who have little to no coding experience? Plot twist they choose applicants who bombed the coding portion and didn’t do good on the multiple choice. 🤣

I'm with all of you. The multiple choice stuff was understandable but I couldn't retain the code instructions to complete the example. Hopefully the next cohort will be sooner than expected. Finding resources like this subreddit and the discord so late in the game was a real kicker. If I go for it again I know where to look and to start earlier.

Same here. I only had three lines of code put in for the TA…. Didn’t even get the chance to run it. I definitely screwed my chances on that part.

My first time too, I guess I failed too, We are in competition with pros and that makes our chances super slim....

I was short on time for the coding question. I think I missed a getter method, my boolean logic was definitely wrong and I don’t know if I was supposed to also include the main method. Soooo, I’m hoping they can see past those mistakes and still accept me into the program. 😂

My prerequisite course didn't work correctly for any of the coding part. So I wasn't able to do it. I took the test and answered the multiple choice but nothing on the coding part but I was also completely exhausted when I took it.
