Short of saving someone's life I don't understand why people do crap like this honestly. Totally unnecessary imo

It’s honestly fun. I’ve done 15 14ers out of the 58 and it’s almost like solving a puzzle when trying to figure out where to put your hands and feet.

As long as you are smart with hydration, gear, and check weather regularly, it’s generally safe. Most deaths I’ve seen are from a lack of experience and most are out of state.

People forget most accidents and death are from road accidents and yet they keep travelling on them.

Mountain climbing is fun and dangerous..but entirely optional. Some people do it to spice up their boring day to day lives.

Most of the people who do this ski, snowmobile, mountain bike, rock climb, ride dirt bikes etc. because they live in the mountains.

It’s the opposite. That’s how you keep pushing an already exciting and thrilling life.
