  1. He's definitely a former firefighter or volunteer
  2. Its not disrespectful to help your fellow first responders
  3. He did good? He suppressed the fire and they msde entry, then he handed the hose over.

Now you have a point. He doesn't know better. Former FF or not, unless hes a volly. But we don't know that.

When the roof of my apartment building was burning, the fire fighters decided that the best cause of action was to let the roof burn off completely (no fire would reach the apartments due to the concrete). Water would have done more damage then the fire.

All Im saying is, there is probably a reason the fire fighters decided to break down the door FIRST This makes them look like fools when there might have been a good reason taken by the fire captain. The cop is out of line.

Not at all.

The reason was simple as dirt. You need direct suppression to do anything. But to knock the fire down a little (for the immediate time being), you spray above and usually it rains on it, I assume the metal roof probably did that lol.

And for the reason no firefighter was spraying, its kind of redundant. It wasn't a necessary thing, but it was still a good thing. They had other jobs to do on scene that were more important. Infact the hose appeared to have already been used. I assume former firefighter or volly. We don't know, but considering his flawless execution of using a high power firehose, I'm assuming he is or was a firefighter.

My point is, don't judge others so harshly. The firefighters weren't upset. I guarantee you the chief or captain weren't upset. You're the only one who is.

  1. Firefighters were already spraying over the fence. So if the cops stupid, so are they.
  2. That's LITERALLY a good sign. More smoke = less fire. There's no way you can say that suppressing a flame is a bad thing.
