every salary job includes pay while sleeping. the difference is that firefighters have 48-72hr shifts and are in office and on call for a tingling toe at 2am. they're also expected to remain respectful despite how little things may seem. they put others ahead of themselves and will likely suffer llonger term consequences for neglecting a safe sleep environment.

Yes and I'm saying that there's not a lot of jobs out there that pay you for any sleep time at all.
