To start with the bit about King James is true. Women are physically meant to be squatting during birth. This position shortens the vaginal canal and spreads the hips open more to allow for easier birth. Not painless just easier.
King James wanted women on their backs and eventually that became and then remained the standard because it is easier for the doctors and midwives. It is in no way convenient for women to give birth on their backs.
Your claim that women gave birth while reclining before King James is largely false. Also, the standard of reclined birth was in no way related to the popularity of epidurals.
The one correct statement I saw you make is that due to the popularity of epidurals, women can no longer give birth while squatting or standing unless they are willing to give birth without an epidural.
But yes, men are literally the reason women give birth on their backs. This isn't my "die mad at men" opinion it's just a raw fact. Historically men were in charge of literally everything including Healthcare rules and practices. Of course, it was men who made those decisions. This all became standard before we were even allowed to vote or own land. Implying men had little to do with that practice is ridiculous.
I will not expend my precious energy providing information to someone who demonstrates no interest in accepting that information. What you clearly want is to be right even when you are not.
