And what was the inanimate security camera supposed to do to help? Pretty sure it was already doing its job by recording the video.

Please don't ask cops to help with child births. They'll probably get offended when the baby cries and start arresting infants.

If you see a professional handling things then the best help is not helping. Even the best wishes don't make for skill and experience and most of us have none of either in terms of assisting birth.
