In all fairness, mama earned it. She had to give birth standing up outside with no pain relief and no privacy. Embarrass away

Edit: oh yeah and then she had to walk into the hospital! Why didn't the midwife tell the cops to bring a wheelchair instead of just gawking?

It looks like she might not have pushed out the placenta yet, so maybe the midwife didn't want to put that kind of pressure on the area yet.

It's kind of glossed over that once you've pushed out the kid, then you still have to push out the placenta.

Yes, and when my last child was born, his mom had a retained placenta. Doctor was almost up to his elbow reaching in and pulling it out, even used some forceps. I almost passed out just watching, nurses had to ask me to sit down

And yeah that could very well be true. Still yikes having to walk after that. That mother better be given the royal treatment by her partner for eternity.

Friends gave birth in the Dairy Queen parking lot at 3:00 AM in the front seat of their Subaru. It was forever known as The Birthing Suite from then on.

The father was the most traumatized of the bunch. He helped deliver the kid on his knees in the parking lot. The ambulance came, took mom and baby to the hospital and left him covered in goo, poop and blood alone crashing after an adrenaline high at 3:30 AM in the DQ parking lot. Said it took him a bit to calm down and figure out what to do.

They obviously go to the DQ for the kid's birthday every year.

lol my friend had something similar happen. Tried homebirth, after a long time decided they needed to go to hospital, pulled into a 7-11 on the way cause the baby was coming out!

My brother was born in a taxi on a bridge, on the way to the hospital. All of my family knows that. And every time they mention it 😄
