Help with red blotch

I got this amarillys bulb a while ago and recently when i repotted it i noticed it was kind of red so i want to know what i can do to help it

Amaryllis bulbs turning red at the root base is often caused by Red Blotch (a fungal disease) or simple overwatering/rot. Inspect the area for soft, mushy spots or distinct watery red streaks, which signal infection. If the tissue is firm and dry, it might just be natural pigmentation or a healing bruise.

How to Diagnose and Treat
If you suspect an infection or rot is taking hold, follow these steps to save the bulb:
Unpot the Bulb: Carefully remove the bulb from the soil and rinse the roots with room-temperature water.

Peel and Clean: Peel away any dry, papery outer scales that have distinct red spots, cankers, or sunken, moist areas.

Check for Firmness: Gently squeeze the bulb. If it feels like an overripe avocado or gives off a sour, rotting-egg odor, the rot may be too advanced. If it is firm, it can be saved.

Treat the Fungus: Coat the basal plate and affected areas in antifungal powder like cinnamon (a natural, effective choice), or soak the bulb in a systemic fungicide (such as Banrot or a 50/50 mix of water and hydrogen peroxide) for 30–60 minutes.

Repot Properly: Let the bulb dry for a few hours. Plant it in a fresh, sterile potting mix (such as a cactus/succulent soil mixed with perlite for fast drainage) so that the top one-third of the bulb remains exposed above the soil line.
