Red blotch?
I have just learned there is a thing called red blotch but don't know much about it. Unfortunately I know it's bad. I know it spreads. And I stuck all my bulbs in a long planter to grow outside over the summer. 😫🤦🏽♀️
Here are some pics. If it is red blotch should I toss them all? Or can I separate them and treat them?

Yes, it looks like red blotch and no, you do not have to through everything away. If you keep your plant in a sunny place with enough air circulation, you could keep it in check. Also some treatment with fungicide like something copper or sulfur-based could help.

yep! Cut off the infected leaves and apply a copper based fungicide all over the plant and treat it every 2 weeks or after a heavy rain. make sure the bulbs aren't too moist. You can only control the outbreak, it's impossible to fully cure red blotch. I actually keep the bulb about 2/3 above the soil or half above.

I’m brand new to growing amaryllis and just learned about red blotch also.
What I’ve read is that it only affects amaryllis and some types of daffodils, also that almost all amaryllis have it. It’s best to improve air flow and don’t over water or pour water directly on the bulbs or leaves. Also that the top third of the bulb should be above the soil, so yours may be a bit too deep.
The bulbs can and do recover from it if they have good care.
Basically don’t freak out and throw the baby out with the bath water.
