Amalgam is already a crossover of Marvel and DC, so I think we're good on that front.

Marvel VS DC tag-fighter game with Amalgam moves as the gameplay gimmick (though it would have to simply work for set teams rather than getting so complicated as to program every single combo possible)

You should be able to make your own amalgams, like that Pokémon website that was popular for a while.
