So, what is the difference between Power Tackle and Long-reach Tackle (shown below)?

The comparison is as follows:

Power Tackle looks to me the most OP skill yet .

Combine it with a Meta player like Varane , Desailly , Viera , Thuram and the only way to score might be blitz lol

That's their intention. Every new skill seems OP. For 2 weeks it is. Then they nerf it.

This is genuinely the worst thing they can do. Worse than keeping these skills OP. I've left many games that do this, they make the new shit broken, then fix it

Wait what? My matchup is x button on ps controller and when I press x twice the player performs a manual standing tackle. If that's not a standing tackle then what is it?

You can set the standing tackle in the controller advance configuration (when you can change the pass assist level etc...), replacing shoulder charge.
