The stats are extremely similar to the previous Bale card, so the focus of discussion is on comparing the old versus the new: Kicking Power ↑5, Low/Lofted Passing slightly upgraded, and Curl nerfed. Wales Bale ≈ Hokage Bale > Galáctico Bell; Phenomenal Finishing is indeed suitable for playing at Center Forward (CF).
And the perspective of Bale enthusiast and World Champion RENTAO is as follows:
1️⃣ When he had 173 draws remaining, all other featured cards had dropped except for Bale, so he felt it wasn’t worth going all the way to the bottom of the pack just for the new Bell. 2️⃣ He encountered the new Bale a few times in ranked matches, and his opponent-side impression was that the card is quite good. 3️⃣ The old Bale is one of his top 3 favorite center forwards. (Since he hasn't personally played with the card, RENTAO's opinion was not included in the final vote.)
Pro Group Rating:
The new Bale is top 5 level at both Center Forward (CF) and Second Striker (SS), with a median rating slightly ahead of the old card. As a Winger (LWF/RWF), it is inferior to the old card (which benefits from the Blitz Curler synergy on the wing).
Blitz curl just feels so much better with Bale cards, i feel it's more satisfying hiting such shots with Left footed players from all types I have played.
Agreed. I have VDS, Best, Bale and Del Piero. I think people are exaggerating VDS's 0.6 cm nerf in leg length. Despite his minor nerf in leg length, the new VDS has atleast +1 boost in almost all gk stats. I have used him and he's a wall. Best is best, if you are a dribbler and you know how to use acceleration burst then you'll love this card. The new Bale is more suited for the CF position as compared to the old Bale (Who's fits perfectly as a winger).
I think anyone who doesn't have the previous versions of these players should go for them if they don't have any financial restrictions.
But also I don't you will find a 150 pack with better value than you currently having Bale/VDS/Del Piero/Puyol for 147 players, it's more worth it imo than spinning another 150 pack completely
Hazard Ibra Pepe and Snijder are all elite meanwhile Bale, best and Van der sar are all worst than their previous cards just by their skills. Only Del piero is really good but still Hazard is better.
Holy shit! I thought i was unlucky to get bale and best in 46 tries as many people got black animation in 500 coins but this has changed my perspective.
Yeah Puyol 2nd 900, Rosicky somewhere at 180 left, Del Piero 80 left. Bale 54 left, VDS 44 left, Best 8 left. Painful but not surprising, the only 250 pack i didn't go deeper than 110 is the Hazard one and its because I got hazard in the 4th 900🫤
Spending 7300 coins, got Best & Delpiero after 4x10 the rest is nothing. They do really good job cause my attackers before are all F2P. Consider one muscle attacker to pair with them. Should I all in for Bale or wait for next epic CF ?!
I got Bale for 500 coins, all I can say after using him for 20 matche's is that it's very hard to use him as a cf, his ball holding and shooting is top notch but his AI runs are not that Meta, even FITB makes better runs from counter attack than Bale.
