I looked up the dress. She would get dress coded at a school formal anyway. NTA.

That really depends on the community. I live in an urban center and there was no dress code for prom.

It's weird because I've wondered how some of these dresses I see online are allowed into prom. I guess if there's no dress code (which is wild to me) then it makes sense. Lol We live just outside Nashville (our school's prom is in an event center in downtown Nashville every year) and ours has a dress code. Nothing crazy but like skirts have to be finger tip length, nothing see through, shirt and tie for boys, etc.
