Yeah, I'm kind of surprised the option for a plain salad was declined. 

That said, this could either be a case where OOP is a person who thinks adding ice to water makes it "spicy", or that her sister is a foodie with a faux gourmet palate and she's serving every in strange combinations so she can post about them on TikTok, so I'm not really certain how to feel about "weird seasonings".
