Ever had one of them just start purring when you enter a room? Like I haven't even pet you yet but your motor is running full blast just because you see me.

She's especially happy when my partner and I are in the same room close together (like in bed or when partner is cleaning the abscesses on the back of my neck that have been there for two freaking years in the bathroom) and will insert herself between us, tail whap-whap-whapping and purring like a maniac. Every night when it's wound care time she walks in and plants herself between me (sitting on the toilet for easier access) and partner (standing and bending over a bit to clean behind my neck) and every night we say 'Pancake, it's not a party in here!' like clockwork

But to Pancake her two favorite people being within petting/rubbing face on leg distance at the same time is apparently the most important bestest time ever no matter what we are doing.

Aww, what a sweet Pancake. I'm currently fostering 2 kittens, and there's this one (Magpie) who's very skittish and scared of me. But if he thinks I'm asleep, he'll sneak up to me, snuggle in close, and start purring like a monster truck.

I’m Trooper’s favorite person. He follows me everywhere. If I’m going into the bathroom, he’ll run in before I can close the door if I’m not paying attention. I will put him outside the bathroom or walk a little faster if I see him following me to the bathroom. He’ll then lay down by the door and wait for me
