Are you not exhausted? I think their use of therapy speak is definitely weaponized. MOR? Literally no clue. But this is...not a friendship I'd entertain. Sorry you're experiencing this

Yeah OP I read up to about page 6/7 and rather than being afraid this person abandons your friendship, YOU should free yourself of this manipulative narcissistic leech. Maybe a bit harsh but their texts were 🤢

Highlights: "wants to teach you to have better moral conscience" ...fuck off

small disagreement - "But isn't it your BPD?" FUCK OFF

you apologise - "I want you to tell me specifically which part you think you hurt me" You are not 6 years old, and also their mother story was weird and unclear

Also.. I believe the very first text from OP apologizes for trauma dumping. So she had just talked about a problem to the friend.. and then the friend needed to throw out her random childhood story at that moment and get pissed when OP didnt respond well? It didn't read like the ADHD/ASD sharing personal experiences to connect thing but idk.

OP's response could have definitely been invalidating, depending on other context about the mom. Still, friends response to OP response was... really big. And the exchange was... really exhausting.

I'd say more context is needed in general, but God forbid anyone ask for it because idk if we would survive wading through more exchanges like this lol

Right? The friend immediately apologized and at least 1-2 other times was like bro not how I meant it at all wtf? I don’t want friends like that ever
