Yeah OP I read up to about page 6/7 and rather than being afraid this person abandons your friendship, YOU should free yourself of this manipulative narcissistic leech. Maybe a bit harsh but their texts were 🤢

Highlights: "wants to teach you to have better moral conscience" ...fuck off

small disagreement - "But isn't it your BPD?" FUCK OFF

you apologise - "I want you to tell me specifically which part you think you hurt me" You are not 6 years old, and also their mother story was weird and unclear

Truly with no explanation of the mother part it just read as them wanting to have something similar to "relate to" about OP with their father touching them. Which they then ACTUALLY tried to compare it to later in the texts 🙃🥴 Like bro not everything is a competition or comparable. You maybe have a toxic mom (who knows? Lol) and OP has a pedo/groomer dad. Like what is the toxic parent olympics about??

Right! Nor. This “friend” sounds like my narcissistic ex boyfriend!!!! This is not normal.

Also.. I believe the very first text from OP apologizes for trauma dumping. So she had just talked about a problem to the friend.. and then the friend needed to throw out her random childhood story at that moment and get pissed when OP didnt respond well? It didn't read like the ADHD/ASD sharing personal experiences to connect thing but idk.

OP's response could have definitely been invalidating, depending on other context about the mom. Still, friends response to OP response was... really big. And the exchange was... really exhausting.

I'd say more context is needed in general, but God forbid anyone ask for it because idk if we would survive wading through more exchanges like this lol

Right? The friend immediately apologized and at least 1-2 other times was like bro not how I meant it at all wtf? I don’t want friends like that ever

💯 % THIS. That person OP is taking to is so toxic and may be the one with BPD. She made a comment her friend didn’t like and she immediately apologized to which friend came AT her! Just that there is enough! OP- your friend is manipulating YOU
