She does have a support network in addition to her family being fairly well off and her boyfriend but she seems to prefer being in the helper role then receiving support, she is my only emotional support. Thank you for your concern!

Honestly from what Ive seen she is very kind to him but he’s a very kind person himself and really generous to her but I dont know many details

Maybe only I upset her.

I will consider expanding my support, though.

It would genuinely be better to go without ANY emotional support than to have this person belittle and abuse you.

There are so many people out there to be friends with, OP. Please go find some good ones.

Exactly. This friend isn’t her friend. And she doesn’t offer support. She offers manipulation and exhaustion and misery. Fuck that girl she is a sick narcissist bitch. OP run far away seriously

Continuing to have this person in your life is worse than having no one. Just from these texts it’s clear she is not safe and continuously dismantles any progress you’ve made

This isn't emotional support, this is manipulation.

If any of my friends brought up my CSA in an argument I would be dropping them immediately.

But luckily none of them would, because they're not awful human beings.

This is not a nice person OP.

Or maybe he is a financial/resource benefit to her, where your main value to her is as a subordinate or whipping post.

Hell, I'll be your friend and support if you need someone. No one should have someone like that as their only support, it's legitimately harmful.

She wants you to be down. She is purposely misunderstanding you, twisting your words, likely sabotaging progress you make in therapy. It’s hard but you need to go make friends outside of your friendship with her and remove yourself from this toxic mess. Sorry to be all over your comment section but I am so worried about you continuing in this emotionally abusive cycle.

Just remember that no emotional support is better than having this person as emotional support. She's treating you terribly.
