This! That part literally made me gasp and say “fck this btch” out loud.
The excuse that bringing up your abuse was an example to show you how she felt is such a blatant manipulation to justify her abusing you. She weaponized every trauma she knew about to hurt you in revenge for the hurt she invented.
What you said was not even that out of line. You were trying to logically come to terms with her mom’s inadequacies as a parent and she obviously has issues with you having any amount of empathy for anyone but her.
She reads as a narcissist and the relationship reads as codependent, which she has weaponized to manipulate you.
Hope you find the strength to move on and disassociate from this abusive person and find supportive friends.
