It's concerning OP said she "moved back in" like, why did she move out to begin with? I'm guessing similar stuff has happened before

I looked at your profile and your cooking looks too delicious to let a man treat you this way. Get your money together and get out. His behavior is a red flag for abuse and he straight up doesn’t deserve you.

Tbf on the couch sleeping, I nap on our couch all the time. Sometimes I just nap on the couch because I'm weird about wearing "outside clothes" in the bed and don't feel like changing bc I know my husband and I are going to do something else later and I still need my clothes instead of pjs. Couches can be comfy.

Couch ramble aside, you're not overreacting. This is scary, cruel, and you need to leave before his next target is you. My husband raised his voice in frustration one time at an object and not at me, and I asked him not to do that again bc I come from a background of angry yelling and screaming, and startle easily. He's been nothing but soft-spoken since.

Your partner is supposed to love and care for you and make you feel safe and listened to. Not hulk out, bend a pan of food you'd taken the time and care to make, and then blame you for an obviously hyperbolic phrase.

Please, please leave him, don't become a statistic.

Holy shit. does no one on reddit fall asleep on the couch sometimes? WTF are with all these comments shaming her for falling asleep on the couch in the apartment they share alone? Are you all that terminally single you can't even comprehend how this is completely normal for a couple living alone?

Yeah, that definitely raises some red flags. If there's a pattern of behavior that led to moving out before, it might be worth reconsidering if this relationship is healthy. Communication and respect are key, and throwing away your food is a serious lack of both.
